I adore her approach to reading and I am glad there are still places where everything is not becoming scripted for the teacher, as high stakes testing guts the creativity of teachers and the needs of children.
I can see why you are so crazy proud of her! I have to show MathMan. He’ll love the way she looks at teaching and being a teacher.
Fantastic! I keep asking myself why more teachers don’t have a similar approach.
I work with Middle Schoolers too, and I love them! I organize tutors and mentors, and also feel like I’m making a difference.
